The hook adapter is an essential part of the carp leader. Its special shape significantly improves the effectiveness of the leader. Its task is to rotate the hook with the tip downwards at the moment of jerking so that the fish jams into the lower lip. The curved tube gives the leader an ideal shape and sets the hook at the right angle. Recommended for use on leaders with hook sizes 4 and smaller.

    This is probably one of the basic hook adapter sizes. I have all 3 sizes, but I mostly fish with size M.
